Thinking about a video for your business or services?
Below are 10 simple do's and don'ts  to think about.
These 10 questions should help form the foundation of almost any video solution you want to create. The answers to these questions will help you get a basic understanding of what you are hoping to accomplish.
  1. What are your objectives in making a video? / What do you hope to accomplish?
  2. What is the message you are trying to convey?
  3. Who is going to see the video?, Internal /external facing?
  4. What is the deliverable? (in what format will it be seen, dvd, web, broadcast, site?)
  5. Merely informative? (documenting an event or quick message to the interested party), or to entertain as well?
  6. Is there stylistically something you want to emulate visually or concept wise?
  7. Do you have adequate facilities in which to shoot in mind? Studio? Location?.
  8. How quickly are you looking to deliver the final product?
  9. Is there a team or individual that has final authority to approve final content, script and concept?
  10. What is your approval process?
